Amie Burnett

Board Chair

Amie Burnett has worked as a Financial Advisor at Ameriprise Financial since 2001 and is a Certified Financial Planner. She received her J.D. from Hamline School of Law in 1998, and has a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Creighton University. She is a former volunteer in MAP’s Legal Services department, has volunteered at several local nonprofits, and served on the board of Headway Emotional Health Services. 

Ashton Schatz

Vice Chair 

Ashton Schatz is an Administrator for the Department of Urology and Contracting & Payer Relations Mayo Clinic in Rochester. Previously, Ms. Schatz was part of the Medicare Strategy Unit within Mayo Clinic, serving as a regulatory consultant to administration, physician leadership, finance and other operational personnel. Currently, much of her work is heavily focused on monitoring market trends, developing Centers of Excellence with payers, and developing strategies for the practice to ensure operational success through the ever-changing healthcare environment. Ms. Schatz is a Minnesota-licensed attorney with Juris Doctor from Hamline University School of Law, certifications in health law and healthcare compliance, and Masters in Health Administration from the University of Minnesota. 

Glade Woolstenhulme


Glade Woolstenhulme is licensed as an LGSW, clinical psychotherapist. Woolstenhulme received his undergraduate BSW degree at Metropolitan State University. He then went on to earn his graduate degree as an MSW with a focus on Multicultural Clinical Practice from Augsburg College. Glade has specialized in CBT and trauma-based therapies and has worked in a harm-reduction, agency-based practice with individuals, families, groups, and communities. He is dedicated to reducing oppression and discrimination in and out of the HIV arena. Woolstenhulme opened a recovery home in 2012 serving the GLBTQA community providing safe, supportive, sober living in the Twin Cities.

Woolstenhulme also works as a DWI educator for Dakota County, educating clients about the need for safe driving practices without the use of alcohol or other drugs, with an emphasis on eliminating relapse and recidivism. He brings experience and knowledge about strength-based, client centered practices from the social work perspectives that serve clients living with HIV. 

Matt Piermantier


Matt Piermantier is an account manager for Augeo Affinity Marketing, a consumer loyalty and branding company located in St. Paul, Minnesota. Prior to joining Augeo, Matt was a senior financial associate at RBC Wealth Management, overseeing an investment portfolio for high net worth individuals and families. Matt brings a breadth of experience in finance, organizational governance and non-profit leadership. Passionate about equal rights for LGBTQ Minnesotans, Matt previously served on the board of directors of OutFront Minnesota. As OutFront’s treasurer, he chaired the Finance committee and was also a member of the Executive committee. Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and MIS from Augsburg College in Minneapolis. 

Erik Wakefield


Erik Wakefield is the Director of Learning & Development at Universal Hospital Services, a Twin Cities-based company that provides medical equipment solutions and management for hospitals and health care facilities around the country. Erik has a diverse background leading teams in human resources, training and operations in the US and Canada and specializes in start-up and turnaround situations. By focusing on talent management and continuous improvement, Erik is known for driving innovative, sustainable results. Erik holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from California State University, Fresno. 

Richard Schwartz


Richard Schwartz was formerly strategic partner at Cincinnatus, Inc., a Minneapolis-based, multi-sector consulting firm dedicated to helping clients achieve their strategic goals. Prior to joining Cincinnatus, Richard was the Founder and CEO of Launch Crew LLC, an innovation and business development consultancy. An active community leader, Richard currently serves as a pro-bono executive coach and board development consultant for Project Diva. With more than 30 years of community leadership and non-profit board service, Richard served as a past president of the Zenon Dance Company board and was a director on the House of Charity board, Human Rights Campaign state committee, and the Cowles Center coordinating board, to name a few. Richard is currently enrolled in an executive education certificate program in innovation and entrepreneurship at Stanford University; and, recently completed fundraising management, digital marketing and advanced social media certificate programs at University of St. Thomas. As an undergraduate, he majored in Social Psychology and Journalism at the University of Minnesota. 

Daniel Jude


Daniel Jude is the Manager of Specialty Clinical Services at Fairview Specialty Pharmacy, which includes oversight of clinical and care coordination services covering many disease states, including HIV, Hepatitis C, and oral oncology. Daniel previously managed Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy in Uptown Row as the HIV Market pharmacist for two and a half years, leading Minnesota Walgreens HIV Centers of Excellence during that time. He has extensive experience volunteering within the HIV community with many ASOs and has extensive public speaking experience, including patient and care-provider education and is on faculty with Midwest AIDS Training and Education Center’s Minnesota Chapter. Daniel is a Certified Specialty Pharmacist and Certified HIV Pharmacist and earned his Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Iowa, College of Pharmacy in 2008. 

Matt Massman is the Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Administration. Prior to that, he served as Governor Mark Dayton’s Deputy Chief of Staff for policy, Deputy Commissioner of Revenue, Chief Fiscal Analyst for the Minnesota Senate, and fiscal analyst for the Minnesota House of Representatives. His experience includes legislative policy-making process, state government operations, public budgeting, policy analysis and problem solving, strategic planning, innovation, organizational management, and procurement. Massman earned his Bachelor’s degree from Hamline University and a Master of Arts in public administration from the University of Wisconsin. 

Aaron Asmundson

Aaron Asmundson is the Assistant Director for Leadership Development and Education at the University of Minnesota. Having served the Twin Cities U of M campus for over 15 years, Aaron creates and facilitates opportunities for leadership development learning and growth through courses, on-campus programming, and study abroad, leading students to Brazil, Costa Rica, Malawi, Senegal, South Africa, and Thailand. He believes that a strong understanding of self and community in relation to leadership is necessary for innovative and positive social change and global engagement. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Augustana University and a Master of Arts Degree from Bowling Green State University. In addition, Aaron is a certified yoga teacher and group fitness instructor. 

Andy Hamp

Andrew Hamp is a general internist and geriatrician at Park Nicollet Clinic. He works as a primary care provider in an internal medicine clinic and a transgender medicine clinic as well at Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital as a hospitalist. He generally goes by Andy.

His interests lie in general primary care but also specifically in LGBTQ health given the healthcare disparities faced by this population. Andy grew up in Ashland, Wisconsin, on the shores of Lake Superior. Hamp went to college at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota and attended medical school at Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.

He returned to Minnesota to complete an internal medicine residency and a geriatric medicine fellowship at Hennepin County Medical Center. 

Roger Kahler-Kokosh

Roger Kahler-Kokosh is Manager of Marketing & Sales Systems for the Legal business unit of Thomson Reuters. Roger manages the team that provide marketing automation, MCM, and CRM systems for Thomson Reuters’ marketing and sales professionals in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Australia. Previously he led and managed cross-functional teams that developed the company’s first web-based product catalog and eCommerce site, and served as the company’s first “webmaster.” He has also worked as an editor, marketer, and account representative in his 34 years with the company. He is an active member of the Eagan chapter of Thomson Reuters’ Business Resource Group, Pride at Work.

Roger has raised money for MAP for 23 consecutive years, individually raising over $39,000. He has served as the captain of the Thomson Reuters Minnesota AIDS Walk team since 2004, raising over $124,000, and has helped secure company sponsorships or matching donations for MAP. In addition, he has sponsored grants from Thomson Reuters to MAP's Legal Advocacy Program; participated in an AIDS Walk Advisory Committee for MAP; volunteered for the MAP education program; and organized presentations on HIV awareness by MAP at Thomson Reuters. Roger regularly volunteers for other non-profit organizations, including Wills for Heroes, Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity, and Courage Center.

Roger received his J.D. from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 1983, and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Wyoming in 1979. He is a member of the Wyoming State Bar. Roger and his husband Joe Kokosh-Kahler live in Saint Paul. 

Christopher Krivanek

Christopher Krivanek recently joined FORCE America as Senior Recruiter for this employee-owned company. He has worked in the HR/recruiting space for over 15 years in both Minnesota and New York developing strategy and executing hiring plans for local, national and global companies. Chris achieved his Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Buena Vista University. He continues his work to improve the community by volunteering to drive with Mobile Mutts, a relay transport moving dogs from high kill shelters in the south to adoptive homes here in Minnesota. As a recipient of many of MAP’s services, Chris is honored and thrilled with the opportunity to be a board member.

Nicole Leiter is a regional vice president for Walgreen Company, the nationwide drugstore chain headquartered in Deerfield, IL. She is responsible for all aspects of the retail and pharmacy locations in the New England/New York area.

Leiter, a 20-year retail pharmacy veteran, joined Walgreens as a pharmacy technician in 1996. During her tenure, she has held various leadership positions, ascending from pharmacy manager in Scottsdale, AZ, to market pharmacy director in Deerfield, IL. She was named to her current position in 2016.

Leiter is pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on International Business from Fort Hays State University, has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from University of Nebraska, Lincoln and a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from University of Nebraska Medical Center. 

Greg Renstrom

Greg Renstrom is an ordained United Methodist minister. A graduate of Macalester College and the University of St. Andrews, Scotland, he served United Methodist and Presbyterian congregations in Minnesota and Michigan. He also served as President of the Minnesota Council of Churches. He retired as minister of Hamline Church in 2008. In retirement, he has continued more than thirty year’s involvement in Alcoholics Anonymous. He also helped create and coordinate ‘The Fosdick Lectures in Preaching’ at Augsburg College and anniversary-observance ‘Remembering Brian Coyle.’ He is actively involved in ministries for human rights and marriage-equality. He is a frequent speaker, lecturer, and presenter in churches, libraries, schools, cultural organizations, and recovery groups. 

Dionne Hart

Dr. Dionne Hart is a psychiatrist in Rochester, Minnesota and is affiliated with Community Behavioral Health Hospital-Rochester. She received her medical degree from Rush Medical College and has been in practice between 11-20 years. She is one of 2 doctors at Community Behavioral Health Hospital-Rochester who specialize in Psychiatry.

Kate Lehmann

Kate Lehmann MA LADC SAP is a substance use professional in private practice.  She works with individuals and families providing assessment services and individual and family counseling.  For many years, Kate also provided on-call counseling services for Hazelden-Betty Ford Foundation's residential, outpatient and halfway house programs.  Earlier in her career, she also worked on-call for Pride Institute's residential and outpatient treatment programs.  In addition to counseling, Kate has over 30 years of experience working with family owned firms, small businesses and non-profit organizations, including a lengthy career in production for film and television. She earned a BA from Smith College, an MA in Organizational Leadership from St. Catherine University, and an MA in Addiction Counseling with honors from Hazelden's Graduate School of Addiction Studies. She is a past Board member of PFund, including serving as Chair, and was a long time Board member of Rainbow Health Initiative, including service as Chair and as Treasurer.

Wally Swan

Dr. Wallace (“Wally”)  Swan’s background (M.P.A., M.A.P.A., and D.P.A.) includes teaching public policy, administrative ethics, public and non-profit finance and organization theory at Metropolitan State University, Adjunct Assistant Professor at University of St. Thomas, Nova Southeastern University, Western International University, and Adjunct Professor at University of Electronic Science and Technology of China; as well as over 30 years of government experience at the city, county and state levels. He is currently: (1) Contributing Faculty Member, Masters of Public Administration Program, Walden University, (2) Adjunct Instructor, Masters of Public Administration Program, College of Business, Hamline University. He has served as a city-wide elected official at the Minneapolis Board of Estimate and Taxation (served as President and Vice President of the Board).  He is currently a member of the boards of All God’s Children Metropolitan Community Church (Stewardship Chair) and JustUs Health. He regularly attends conferences of the American Society for Public Administration, and is currently Chair of the LGBT Advocacy Action Section of the organization.  Dr. Swan has edited 5 books with major public administration publishers, has written 4 chapters, authored 7 articles in Proceedings, written 15 articles, presented 2 national webinars, participated in 40 panels as a presenter or chair ; and is currently editing a major textbook on LGBTQIA public policy.
