FAMILY TREE CLINIC is a community health care clinic for people of all gender identities. FAMILY TREE provides testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) including urine testing for chlamydia and gonorrhea. Rapid HIV testing available either anonymously or confidentially. Offers risk assessment and testing for hepatitis A,B, & C, as well as vaccinations for hepatitis B. Appointments are encouraged and same day appointments are often available.
Other services include birth control visits,routine breast and pelvic exams, hormone care services for transgender and gender non-conforming individuals, and limited primary care services.. Volunteer patient educators sometimes help clinic patients understand the testing process, different birth control methods, and risk reduction methods.
Additionally, FAMILY TREE education services provide health education and informational sessions, family planning services, and sexuality education for the deaf, deaf blind, and hard of hearing community. Health education and informational sessions include factual information on a variety of topics, including hepatitis and HIV/AIDS education, relationships and self-esteem, hormone replacement therapy, and sexually transmitted infections.
